LABOUR AND BIRTH DOULA SERVICES

As a Labour & Birth Doula, I offer support to the labouring mother prenatally, during labour and birth, and in the immediate postpartum period. I do not replace a partner, midwife or a doctor. Rather, I serve as a valuable addition to your birth team, ensuring that you (and your partner, if applicable) are empowered to make informed choices that you feel most comfortable with, and have the opportunity to have the birth experience you desire. 

I will provide you with a wealth of information, emotional and physical support, regardless of whether you strive for a natural birth, decide to utilize pain medication, or are birthing by caesarean section.

For the partner, I help them participate in the birth process within their level of comfort, process the intense emotions they may experience, as well as offer them the opportunity to rest when necessary.
