Imagine this: You've just gone through the miraculous, monumental task of giving birth to your beautiful new baby. You hold them in your arms, a rush of emotions overtakes you. This baby that you've worked so hard for, and waited for so long, is finally here!
With the birth of your baby, you too are born, as a mother. Your postpartum period begins immediately.
Just as suddenly, you have to navigate the murky, uncharted and rough waters of postpartum. Waves of physical discomfort, emotional challenges, sleep deprivation, inadequate support, breastfeeding issues, self-care neglect, postpartum recovery, adjustment to motherhood, relationship changes seem to come at a pace you didn't expect.
More questions and issues seem to prop up before the previous one gets resolved:
- "Are these contractions? Why am I still having contractions even though I've given birth?"
"Baby's not latching on, and I'm being pushed into supplementing"
"I was feeling so happy just moments ago- how can I be so down in the dumps all of a sudden?"
"What am I supposed to eat to support my recovery right now?"
"I had no idea pooping/peeing right after giving birth was going to be such a task! What do I do to make it easier?"
"No one talked to me about caring for my C-section scar? Do I just go about my day as normal?"
"I have never changed a diaper in my life- is this green poop normal?!"
"It's only been a week and I feel like I've completely lost sense of who I was...am I going to be this lost forever?"
"I had an epidural and now my back hurts...are these related? How do I fix it?"
"My breasts hurt like crazy! This isn't what I expected breastfeeding to be like..."
"How long am I going to have this mom-pooch for? I hate looking at myself in the mirror"
"My husband and I used to be on the same page about everything; why does it feel like we're from two different planets and completely disconnected all of a sudden?"
Birth is the beginning of your postpartum journey, and this journey deserves time, attention and preparation.
Your body and your baby are trusts from Allah swt. Your womb nurtured this beautiful little being for months, and every cell in your body worked towards ensuring it's safe arrival.
To ensure you're equipped to honor this sacred window of postpartum, and allow yourself the best opportunity to heal, grow, learn and thrive through it, I've put together a program that will teach you:
- Strategies to heal your body from within and come out of postpartum with the potential to be stronger than ever before
- To create emotional support systems and put tools in place to help you navigate postpartum mood swings and challenges
- To assess your relationship with rest and figure out ways to combat sleep deprivation, even with a newborn's unpredictable schedule
-To understand what is required for a successful breastfeeding journey looks like, overcome common breastfeeding challenges and master breastfeeding techniques
-To gain confidence in your new role as a mother, learn to set healthy boundaries and balance new relationship dynamics and co-parenting responsibilities
- To come up with a strong Postpartum Plan that incorporates all of the above and more for a calmer, confident, smooth and strong postpartum experience

Preparing For a Positive Postpartum is a comprehensive postpartum preparation course that I designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools that you will need to thrive as a new Muslim parent.
The course will teach you what to expect from your postpartum from as soon as the baby makes it's entrance into the world, to well past your first 40 days. It encourages you to look at current systems you have in place, identify gaps and figure out concrete ways to fill those gaps so that instead of scrambling to figure things out in the postpartum period, you're able to focus on what really matters- healing and your new growing family.
During this intensive workshop- style course, I will help you to prepare mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually for the very real challenges that postpartum brings with it.
Total Program Value = USD $2844
Your VIP Investment = USD $497.00 $397
This was a no brainer course for us! We took Asma's course while expecting our third child, and we still learnt so many things we had no idea about before (Where were you when I was pregnant before, Asma!?)
My husband was amazed at all the things that happen to a woman in the postpartum and he felt better prepared to support me this time. I can't thank you enough Asma. May Allah Bless you <3
I loved the practical components of the program. We were able to work on those together after every class and even had conversations about things we never thought about.
For anyone thinking about buying this course, we really recommend you do it. It's full of information and you actually prepare while learning so its easy to follow. Asma also takes time to respond to everyone's concerns
We encourage all expecting parents to take a course like this one. Our biggest concerns were breastfeeding and changing our newborn's diapers. After PPP, we feel confident about these and everything else that came with the course. The mental health modules were eye opening. The fiqh of postpartum discussion was so needed as well.

On the fence? Got a question?
Preparing for your postpartum period in advance is crucial for a smoother and more positive experience. It helps you anticipate and address the physical, emotional, and logistical challenges that often accompany childbirth. By gaining knowledge, developing skills and having resources handy ahead of time, you'll boost your confidence, reduce stress, and ensure the well-being of both you and your baby during this transformative phase of life.
I agree with you. There is just SO much information available for free online. So much that you will often find conflicting information that you will need to sift through. You can spend hours online Google-ing remedies, advice and suggestions on issues that come up in the postpartum while you're going through them,
OR…
You can feel guided and supported by someone who has gone through it all and helped moms just like you to plan and prepare for a postpartum that comes as close as possible to bliss. You can ask your questions LIVE and get thoughtful answers by someone who will take the time to ease your worries and address your concerns.
Interestingly enough, most of my students are repeat parents! It probably has something to do with going through postpartum without any prep the first time and realizing that this is definitely a time period that needs preparation and attention...I myself had two children, went through rough postpartum experiences both times and then decided to create this program in preparation for my third postpartum. The difference in this last postpartum was night and day!
If this is not your first time, I would recommend bringing to the program your biggest challenges from your past experiences and focusing on preparing yourself thoroughly to meet those challenges again in a better way.
Lets put this in perspective: PPP is a total of 10-15 hours of class time. That's literally a fraction of a day out of your 9 months of pregnancy, that will be spent in preparing for a time period that will undeniably have a profound impact on the rest of your life. The course is all virtual, and you have access to recordings, reading materials and worksheets for the next 6 months. Squeeze in the learning, do the work and thank me later, inshallah :)
Preparing For a Positive Postpartum is a quality program that combines a number of teachings and presents them in a Muslim-friendly manner. The value of this course goes beyond basic learning. You get a community (don't we all need one?), you get an opportunity to understand yourself better, to prepare yourself, your marriage, your mental state and your family for this new phase in life.
Most of all, you get the satisfaction of knowing you're that you've done your part in preparing yourself thoroughly for what's coming.
No monetary value can be assigned to peace of mind :)
That being said, I do believe that this course is a must-take for all birthing women, and want to make it accessible. Should you be in need of financial assistance, or a payment plan, please feel free to reach out to me by clicking the link below.
