Your birth experience is the beginning of the rest of your life. Your birth doula would be your coach, your educator, advocate, guide…like a birth sherpa, if you will, as you navigate the unfamiliar terrain of pregnancy, labor and birth.

No matter where or how you decide to labour and birth your baby, your birthdoula will be by your side, honoring your values and providing you with supportand comfort measures, with the sole goal of you having a positive birthexperience.

What a birth doula support looks like: 

• Intake and Prenatal assessment to see how we can best guide you as youprepare from a body and mind perspective 
• On-going support via phone/video calls/emails/texts throughout pregnancyto guide you with your questions and help you make decisions (your personalevidence-based google!)
• Supporting your birth partner to participate in the birth process. This includes informational support and guidance on comfort measures based on the stageof labour, help with processing intense emotions as they inevitably arise during labour and birth, and opportunities to rest when necessary. 
• Comfort measures, informational support and advocacy throughout your labour and birth experience
• On-call support from 38 weeks
• Virtual support for early labour and in-person support from active labour to about 2 hours after you’ve welcomed your baby into this world
• 1 postpartum visit
